Our students lives are complicated and diverse, no two are alike. Creating a space where all students are welcome, safe, and celebrated is at the core of this session. We will explore strategies to establish positive relationships and build a community of learners. Morning meeting, classroom book-a-day, student goal-setting, and lessons rooted in identity will be discussed.
