The ADHD brain is constantly stimulation seeking and in the classroom (and on the playground) this can cause behavior that is not ideal. We will explore the reasons behind why an ADHD brain acts the way it does and look for modifications and accommodations that can enhance learning and reduce undesirable behavior. We will also discuss the different symptoms of ADHD and how they can present differently in girls vs. boys.
