This session will describe methods to reduce transition time and embedded instruction into daily classroom transitions. Attendees will be taught three transition strategies that can be applied to transitions in any classroom or content area. Photographs of tools used to implement the transitions, as well as ways to teach transitions initially at the beginning of the school year will be provided. Attendees will leave the session with practical strategies to improve transitions in their classrooms to reduce the likelihood of problematic behaviors.
