Learn about Classrooms to help guide learning, share work, and manage student devices.  You can launch an app, a website, or a textbook page on any Ipads in the class, share documents with students, or display student work on a monitor using Apple TV. You can see which apps students are working in, mute student devices, and lock student devices to a specific app or web page. When class ends, you can see a summary of your students` activities.

Digital text is an important option for many students being able to access the content.  This session will focus on different options for digital text, how to make selections on which digital option is best for a student, and what criteria different companies have for who can access their services.  Cindy Malone from the Kansas Infinitec Coalition will show you how to access these tools for students.

Whether you are utilizing Zoom for student, parent or colleague video conferencing, there are several tips and tricks to find success beyond just sharing your webcam and mic. We will walk through steps to allow collaboration amongst student group sessions, how to setup an invitation through GMAIL and Google calendar, record and share a session, share your screen and utilize annotation tools, set up a waiting room and require registration to enter, and analyze attendance.

We will look at tools for using Google Docs, Sheets, Forms and Slides for classroom assignments in general and to set up collaboration opportunities for students in your classroom. Working through the levels of the SAMR model to start with substitution and advance through redefinition. We will introduce teachers to the world of Hyperdocs.

If you work or teach in the classroom, you have students who struggle with accessing the content of the class.  Come and learn about technology resources that are available for all students. Staff will learn about techology resources that are available for all students.  Staff will learn how to determine if digital text is useful to a student, how to access district programs for digital reading and writing.  Product focus will be on the Don Johnston tools of uPar, Snap & Read, CoWriter, Quizbot, and WordWall.  This session will be useful for educators grades 3 and up, General Educations Staff, Para Professionals, ELL Staff, Special Education Staff, Administrators, and anyone who works with students in the classroom.
